Department of General Surgery in association with AWR association successfully conducted the “Basics to Advanced Hernia Workshop” on 8^th October 2023.

It was a live Minimal access Surgery workshop where basic to highly advanced minimal access surgeries were performed by eminent and expert faculties in the concerned field. Different aspects of MIS like TEP, eTPE(inguinal hernia), eTEP(ventral hernia), IPOM plus were demonstrated live to an audience of around 200+ surgeons. A single platform was provided for the interaction with national faculties and delegates.

It was a great success for the new budding surgeons in the aspect of knowledge, skill and various other aspects as well and a great success for the Department of General Surgery.
