The Alumni Meet for Batch 1998 was organized on 9th September 2023 from 8.30 am onwards.

The Programme started with a sumptuous breakfast for all followed by the main programme in Lecture Hall no.1.

Anchoring was done by Dr. Deepali Zawar. Her style of anchoring with Sher O Shayari was appreciated by all.

The programme started with a small video of Batch 1998 Nostalgic Moments which brought tears of joy in everyone’s eyes.

It was followed by Lamp Lighting by Dignitaries Director Academics Dr. P. Vatsalaswamy, Dean Dr. J. S. Bhawalkar & Past Dean Dr. D. L. Ingole, 10 Batchmates from the Alumni recited Ishastavan during the same .

Ganesh Vandana was recited by Dr. Shushma Jadhav & team, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Sonali Reddy.

The programme was followed by Self Introduction of all batchmates. They spoke on their achievements after leaving college and where they have reached today. It was an inspiring segment for all students who had joined to see what their seniors had achieved and what their experiences were.

The programme which followed was Address by Dr P. Vatsalaswamy, Dr. D. L. Ingole and Dean Dr. J. S. Bhawalkar.

Hon'ble Dr. (Mrs.) Bhagyashree Patil Madam, Pro-Chancellor, joined the programme which was met with excitement by the Alumni as it was a much awaited moment. She delivered her address and encouraged the alumni to reach new heights.

Dr. Meenu Batra gave a very emotional speech on behalf of the batch and mentioned that it was like a real homecoming for all and promised to keep in touch with the Medical College in the future.

There was a surprise dance performed by the Alumni on their MBBS Journey which was appreciated by all.

The alumni then distributed small gifts as a token of appreciation for all the teachers who had joined in the programme.

Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr. Sheetal Kadam who gave a very emotional speech and the programme ended on a happy note.

Each Alumna received a gift from Hon'ble Dr. (Mrs.) Bhagyashree Patil Madam herself and there was a group photo session. The whole group proceeded to Wildernest Resort in Pune for a picnic for the next 2 days.

The programme was attended by 61 Alumni attended the function in person and teachers.
