1)- The Guest Lecture & Group Discussion with GSI office bearers Pune chapter was held on 08^th September 2023 at MEU Hall. A programme was organized by Department of Medicine Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Pimpri, Pune and Geriatric Society of India Pune Chapter.

2)- Dr. Shubhangi Kanitkar, Professor and Head Department of Medicine gave the introductory address. There was a Group Discussion on the topic - UNMET Health and Social Care needs of older people. This was a part of an ongoing project which is jointly conducted by DPU and University of Gothenburg Sweden. Professor Nawi, Dr. Maysaa from Sweden and Dr. Sarika Chaturvedi and Dr. Shubhangi Kanitkar from DPU are the investigators.

3)- Dr. Sandeep Tamane, Dr. Umarji, Dr. Mrs. Vandana Kakrani, committee members of GSI Pune Chapter participated and gave their valuable input. Dr. Amarjit Singh, Principal Director & CEO, Dr. (Mrs) P. Vatsalaswamy Director Academics and IQAC participated in the group discussion. Faculty members from the Medicine Department and Geriatric Medicine Department also participated in the group discussion.

4)- Dr. Sandeep Tamane Chairperson GSI Pune Chapter delivered a lecture on the topic Delirium in elderly. Dr. Anjali Deshpande Gerontologist, founder and chairman, of MadhurBhav an organization dedicated to senior care gave a talk on Elderly care. This was followed by Discussion and Tea. The meeting was well attended by 51 peoples who include senior faculty members from Department of Critical Care medicine, Pharmacology Medicine, and residents from Medicine Department.
