The Alumni Association of Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College Pimpri Pune had organized a guest Lecture by our own alumna Dr. Shristi Mohapatra of Batch 2015 on topic One Dream is not enough, Opportunities after MBBS for doctors, in our section Connect to Campus in Medical College Auditorium on 14th July 2023 from 2-3 pm.

The programme was anchored by Dr. Shreya, an Alumni Secretary.

Dr. Shreya welcomed the Guest Dr. Mohapatra and Dean Dr. J. S. Bhawalkar, Director Academics of DPU, Dr. P. Vatsalaswamy, Deputy Registrar Mrs Annie Francis, Dr. Pramod Jog and Dr. Radhika Paranjpe.

She then invited the Dignitaries for lamp lighting & introduced Dr. Shristi Mohapatra.

The Dean Dr. J. S. Bhawalkar expressed his pleasure that our Alumni are giving back to their alma mater and connecting to the campus.

Dr. Shristi Mohapatra started her speech with her achievements and about how the college helped her to build a portfolio for foreign exams by encouraging her in all activities.

She then spoke about how to build a strong portfolio and how to apply at various universities in UK.

She also stressed on the need to be in touch with teachers for guidance and letters of recommendations.

Dr. P. Vatsalaswamy then spoke a few words in appreciation for her initiative to guide the students.\nDr. Radhika Paranjpe gave the vote of thanks.The programme was attended by 70 students, interns and teachers.
