The Department of Ophthalmology had organized a Guest Lecture on “Glaucoma : Diagnosis, Management & Patient Perspective” by Renowned Ophthalmologist in Pune, Dr. Udayan Dixit on 5th April 2023 from 2pm to 4 pm in Medical College Auditorium .

The Dignitaries who attended were Dr. (Mrs) P. Vatsalaswamy, Director Academics, Dr. A. L. Kakrani, Professor of Clinical Eminence & Director Academic Collaboration & Dr Shrikant Tripathi, Director Medical Research. The event was also attended by HODs and senior Professors of all departments, students of PG course Ophthalmology, Optometry and Nursing.

The programme started with lamp lighting Ceremony by all Dignitaries followed by Introduction of the Guest Speaker by HOD Ophthalmology Dr. (Col) O. K. Radhakrishnan who Aldo felicitated the Dignitaries.

Udayan Dixit spoke elaborately about diagnostic signs, Management and patient Perspective of Glaucoma which was followed by many questions by the inquisitive audience.

The programme was anchored by Dr. Shailaja Anand and Vote of Thanks was given by Dr. Megha Kotecha.
