The Department of Medical Gastroenterology had organized a ‘CME cum workshop on GI Manometry’ on 26^th March 2023.

The speakers were the most reputed names in Neuro-Gastroenterology & motility disorders.

The first lecture was delivered by Dr. Geoffry Hebbard from the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia who spoke online.

The rest of the five speakers were from India who were physically present. They were:

Shobhana Bhatia, KEM Hospital, Mumbai;
Rajesh Sainani, Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai;
Dr Shrihari Anikhandi, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi.
Nitesh Pratap, KIMS Hospital, Secunderabad
Sanjay Salunkhe, Jehangir Hospital, Pune.

The national speakers are the masters in this field and have been involved in framing the international guidelines on GI Manometry.

The delegates were mostly young Gastroenterologists with keen interest in GI Manometry. They were from Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon; GB Pant Hospital, Delhi; Kochi, Goa, Gujarat and various cities of Maharashtra, namely Nagpur, Sangli, Kolhapur, Nashik, Nanded, Mumbai, Akola, Sangamner and Pune.
