Guest Lecture on “Molecular Genetics for Clinicians-Future” was conducted by Department of Pediatrics on 2^nd December 2022 at 2pm in the College Auditorium.

Guest Speaker Dr. Nikhil Phadake (PhD) Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Founder & Chief Scientific Officer, Gene Path Diagnostic Inc delivered lecture on topic “Molecular Genetics for Clinicians-Future”. He discussed different molecular techniques in genetic disorders, gene therapy, clinical application of the techniques in diagnostics and curative approach practiced all over world. He also explained personalized medicine concept.

\n\n

After his lecture the faculty and students interacted with him. They opined that the session was more informative and interactive. The students wanted to work in research in genetics and laboratory exposure. They were fascinated by the advances in genetics. There were 97 participants which included 15 Faculty and 82 students attended the guest lecture. It was appreciated highly by the participants.
