The Department of General Surgery in association with the VESSOMAG Society successfully conducted the “VascuLink: A CME + Workshop on Vascular Anastomosis” on 16^th November 2024.

\n\n

It was an informative and intellectual CME with talks delivered by eminent vascular surgeons from Pune, Mumbai, and Nashik belonging to the VESSOMAG Society to an audience of around 200 surgeons. A single platform was provided for the interaction with vascular surgery faculties, delegates, and interns. This was followed by a hands-on workshop on vascular anastomosis on live tissue organized in our very own skills laboratory at Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre.

\n\n

The workshop was attended by over 80 delegates, including senior faculties as well as budding general surgery residents. It was a great success for the new budding surgeons in terms of knowledge and skill and a great success for the Department of General Surgery.
