Department of Pediatrics had organized the Preconference Workshop of “Simulus 9, National Conference on Simulation” on 31^st August 2024.

Total eight National and International faculties from AIIMS Jodhpur, AIIMS Kalyani, Bengaluru, Kolkata & Sri Lanka had given valuable guidance for the Workshop. Total 40 delegates were registered including the residents of Dr. D. Y. Medical College, Hospital & Research Center, Pimpri, Pune.

Dr. Sampada Tambolkar, Professor Pediatrics was the Convenor and Faculty for this workshop. Dr. Manoj Patil, Dr. Siddhi Gawhale & Dr. Balsubramanya Tandur from the PICU were faculties for this Workshop. International & National Faculty have Appreciated the Simulation Lab and labelled it as one of the finest Skills labs in the country. They were also impressed by the infrastructure & Logistic Support Provided and the expertise of our Nursing staff from PICU and faculties from Department of Pediatrics.

The event was possible due to guidance and support from Hon’ble Dr. P. D. Patil Sir, Respected Dr. (Mrs) Bhagyashree Patil Madam and Respected Dr. Yashraj Patil Sir and for providing an excellent infrastructure.
