Medical Education UnitconductedSimu Mastery (OSCE) on 5^th& 6^th July 2024for NMC certifiable skills which included intravenous and intramuscular injection.A total of 17 faculties and 20 students participated in this event.

The day started with presentation on IV fluids ,anatomy of veins ,which one to use and why,Environment which included rapport development with patient and taking consent after explaining the procedure,Demarcation of site ,Aseptic steps, Preparation of IV canulal,Steps to puncture ,Secure line ,Connecting iv fluids ,Fixing the canula.This was followed by practice test &Peer to peer to learningbased on checklist.

\n\n

The students did Video recording of the activity. This was assessed by the faculty.Post test was conducted. The faculty got involved in demonstration and assessment. Feedback of the faculty and students registered

\n\n

Next day there was adebriefing session which was conducted in the presence of Dean Dr. J. S. Bhawalkar. He guided the teachers about using the skills learnt in the Teaching Learning.

\n\n

56 NMC certifiable skills check list was shared and future plan of Faculty development FDP planned.

\n\n

The Session was attended by 17 faculties which was interactive.All agreed that the training was helpful in skill lab utilization with assessment in built.
