The Department of Orthopedics on 12^thJune 2024 had organized a Guest Lecture on the topic “Examination of Spine” by esteemed speaker Dr. Rajesh Parasnis who is a Senior Consultant Orthopedics Surgeon at Sahyadri Super specialty Hospital, Pune.

Dr. Rajesh Parasnis was kind enough to accept our invitation to address our faculty and students and educate us regarding surgeries of the spine including the modern-day endoscopic spine surgeries. It was an enriching session for the students, and they got an insight into this side of orthopaedics and also got exposed to the ongoing advancements in the field. It helped clarify concepts of students in spine surgeries and also developed interests in their minds. This was enthusiastically attended by 40 delegates including Residents and Faculty Department of Orthopaedic.
