On the occasion of World Hypertension Day 2024, the Department of General Medicine conducted following activities on 17th May 2024.

1. A health checkup & health awareness camp was conducted for patients with hypertension in Medicine OPD on 17/05/2024 from 10.00am to 2.00pm. Dr. Harshad Patel Assistant professor communicated to the paients regarding importance of regular blood presure check up. He also spoke about lifestyle modifications & other treatment modalities for hypertension.

2. Faculty and PG Residents attended the National Webinar on 17th May 2024 on World Hypertension Day 2024 with an aim to highlight the importance of monitoring blood pressure and bringing awareness among the people with high blood pressure.

3. Dr. Shubhangi Kanitkar Professor & Head, General Medicine & Dr.Madhulika Mahashabde Professor & HOU, General Medicine addressed PG Students about risk factors and complications of hypertension.
