1. The Department of Pediatrics organized an online Guest Lecture on 15^th March 2024by Dr.Janaknathan - Adjunct Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College and Hospital, and Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune and Consultant Neurologist at Shushrusha Citizens Co-operative Hospital, Mumbai. He is Asia's pioneer of the ketogenic diet for Epilepsy, Cancers, and Neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer's disease, Autism, Multiple sclerosis, etc. He gave an enlightening talk on “The pathophysiology of Epilepsy and Antiseizure medications and Diet therapy in epilepsy”.

2. Shailaja Mane – Professor and HOD welcomed Dr Janaknathan and gave a welcome speech. Dr ShijiChalipat – Professor and Pediatric Neurologist moderated the session and took the question-answers at the end of the talk. Around 40 attendees – faculty, Pediatric Neurology fellow trainees, and Postgraduate residents joined the lecture and was very well received by all. Dr Amodini Arora – Senior resident and Fellow trainee in Pediatric Neurology gave the vote of thanks and concluded the session.
