Department of Medicine,Dr. D.Y.Patil Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune and Indian Medical Association, Pimpri Chinchwad Bhosari Branch [IMA PCB] jointlyorganized a Multidisciplinary 2days Conference \"MEDICON 2024\"under the aegis of IMA Maharashtra with 4 MMC points on 17th and 18th February 2024 at Dr. D.Y.Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri Pune.

The conference was attended by more than 400 delegates who included Consultants, General Practitioners and PG students. More than 150 papers and Posters were presented by PG Students and Consultants. A quiz was organized for PG students. Eminent faculty were invited to speak on various topics important to Medical Practice.

The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Thakre, President of Maharashtra State IMA.Dr. J. S. Bhawalkar, Dean Dr D. Y. Patil Medical College has given guidance and support for this event.

Dr. A. L. Kakrani Professor of clinical eminence Medicine and Director International Collaborations was the Organizing Chairman and Dr. Shubhangi Kanitkar, Professor and Head Department of Medicine Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College was Co- organizing Chairman, Dr.Muthian President and Dr. Aniruddh Tongaonkar organizing Secretary were theoffice bearers from IMAPCB.

All the delegates were impressed by the quality and the state of art infrastructure the department have. The conference got a tremendous response in terms of number of delegates registering for this conference.
