The Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune Policy for Women Support Schemes establishes measures to promote women's application, admission, participation, acceptance, and advancement in higher education. It covers non-discrimination, outreach, inclusive admissions, scholarships and tuition-fee waivers, mentoring and support services, gender-equitable curriculum and research, campus safety, leadership, health, and fitness. The policy also provides for monitoring, reporting, periodic review, partnerships, transparency, and accountability, and was approved by the Board of Management in November 2022.
