The Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth Water Conservation and Reuse Policy establishes guidelines for conserving, efficiently using, recycling, and reusing water across the university, its constituent colleges and institutions, hostels, hospitals, canteens, staff quarters, gardens, and offices. It covers water audits, efficient infrastructure, awareness programs, greywater recycling, rainwater harvesting, maintenance, monitoring, accountability, enforcement, and annual review to promote sustainable water management.
