Reservation Policy for Admission to Allied Health Science Courses

Policy of Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth aligned with SDG 10: Reduced Inequality.

This policy of Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune establishes reservations for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes in Allied Health Sciences programmes that are not governed by a statutory or central council. It provides for 15% SC, 7.5% ST, and 27% OBC reservation, subject to applicable laws, merit-based admission through the University’s All India Common Entrance Test, and verification of caste and non-creamy-layer certificates. Unfilled reserved seats are allotted to general-category candidates, and the policy incorporates relevant University Grants Commission norms and provisions referenced in the Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Act, 2006 and its 2012 amendment.
