This policy establishes guiding principles, restrictions, approval procedures, confidentiality requirements, resource-use rules, and revenue-sharing arrangements for consultancy and other external activities undertaken by faculty members of Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune. It requires prior approval, prevents conflicts with University duties and interests, regulates the use of University facilities, students, name, and intellectual property, and generally provides for a 70:30 revenue share between the consultant and the Vidyapeeth after expenses, subject to project-specific approval.
