Policy of Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth aligned with SDG 4: Quality Education.

The Student Safety Policy of Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth establishes a structured framework to protect students from physical, emotional, psychological, gender-based, and digital harm across its campuses and affiliated units. It covers campus security, hostel and transport safety, mental-health support, anti-ragging and anti-bullying measures, harassment prevention, cybersecurity, emergency preparedness, and confidential grievance reporting. The policy assigns responsibilities to administrators, faculty, students, security and hostel teams, and requires annual review in accordance with applicable UGC, AICTE, NMC, POSH, POCSO, disability, disaster-management, information-technology, and related regulations.
