The Undergraduate Research Promotion Policy of Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune establishes a framework to encourage and support undergraduate students in research, from journal-club activities and identification of research gaps through proposal development, experimentation, data analysis, and publication. It provides for research resources, DPU-STS financial support, faculty mentorship, ethical conduct, dissemination of findings, publication incentives, and recognition of achievements. Implementation and periodic monitoring are overseen by the Vidyapeeth Research and Development Cell in collaboration with the constituent units’ cells.
