The Undergraduate Research Promotion Policy of Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune establishes a framework to encourage and support undergraduate students in research activities. It provides for resources, seed funding through the DPU-STS program, faculty mentorship, ethical research practices, dissemination and publication of findings, recognition, and a semester-wise progression from journal clubs and research-gap identification to manuscript publication. Implementation is overseen by the Vidyapeeth’s Research and Development Cell in collaboration with the cells of its constituent units.
